The multi award winning Summer Sundae Weekender -now into it's eighth year- is established as a three day festival with full camping facilities. It features over 100 internationally known artists on 5 stages both indoor and outdoor.

e-ticketing

Summer Sundae Weekender is committed to eliminating the use of paper as much as possible. We have moved to an e-ticketing system for 2008. Instead of receiving a paper ticket in the post, you'll receive a unique barcode sent to your mobile phone and on a print at home ticket via email. You can bring either of the 2 options, though we prefer if you bring barcoded ticket on your mobile. When you arrive at the festival, the barcode, which can only be used once, will be scanned, the name checked against your ID, and then you will be issued with a wristband as normal. Secure Ticketing

In conjunction with our partners at Tixmob, we have moved to secure barcoded ticketing system and require everyone to bring an ID. We are recording your name (i.e the name of the person making the booking) against each ticket that you purchase. Tickets that are presented without the ID of the person whose name is allocated to the ticket will not be valid.

Booking Multiple Tikcets

If you are purchasing multiple tickets, please ensure you provide correct names for your companions when prompted during the payment process. Upon arrival at the festival, you will be asked for ID, which must match the name you have entered or given us. Details of acceptable ID will be published soon.

No mobile?

No problem. You will receive a confirmation email with the barcode that you can print off and bring with you. When booking online you will still be asked for a mobile number and make of handset . Simply insert your landline number here instead and choose Sony Ericsson handset from the drop down list.

No mobile and no email address?

If you don’t have either of these, or if you want to pay by cash or cheque, please phone the box office on 0116 233 3111 and we'll sort things out for you.

Disabled Customers

If you are disabled and require a personal assistant or carer to be able to come to the festival (one disabled person and one assistant/carer), you can purchase both tickets for the price of one regular ticket by booking please phone De Montfort Hall on 0116 233 3111.

Children’s tickets

You must book an adult ticket in order to purchase a children’s ticket. However please note that as children are on a combined ticket with their parents/guardians, it is not necessary to allocate names to children’s tickets. A maximum of two children (5yrs or over under 16 yrs) can attend with each adult. You will be issued with one barcode for yourself and the children you are accompanying, which does mean you will need to arrive at the festival at the same time. Any adult accompanying people using children’s tickets must be at least 18 years old. To book for the free children under 5 ticket, please contact De Montfort Hall on 0116 233 3111.

Booking fees

Booking fees apply only to adult tickets, not to children or camping tickets.

Camping

This year camping is booked per adult instead of by tent. There will be a limited number of camping tickets available. The campsites open at 2pm on Thursday 7th August 2008. Regent College campsite is designated as the family campsite, though it may be also used for overflow from the Victoria campsite.

Camper Vans

We are hoping to increase our camper van capacity this year. Camper van spaces are available at £25. Please call De Montfort Hall on 0116 2333111.
