Festival to go Paper Free

This year Summer Sundae’s Weekender has gone paper free, after a deal with tixmob to distribute the tickets for the event electronically.

Festival goers will now receive an email and a text to confirm the booking which will contain a barcode that can be scanned at the gate, hopefully reducing the fraud and ticket touting at the event. Read more »

Tixmob Launches Free Festival Marketing Model

UK festival fan website Virtual Festivals has teamed up with mobile ticketing experts Tixmob to offer free specialist marketing services to a handpicked number of small and medium-sized festivals.

The partnership aims to offer email, mobile and ‘short code’ SMS marketing services to a selection of 20 events via Virtual Festivals’ ready-made customer base of 2.2 million unique users and its database of 100,000 subscribers. Read more »
